Premiere of "Don't Feel Bad for Me" for baritone, guitar, violin, & clarinet

In “Sojourns in Song,” RAM explores various 21st century vocal works featuring the RAM debut of guitarist Nadav Lev, soprano Risa Renae Harman, mezzo-soprano Tammy Coil, and baritone Seth Gilman along with clarinetist Thomas Piercy and violinist Sabina Torosjan of the RAM Players. New vocal works by Gilbert Galindo and David Schober will be heard alongside songs by fellow RAM composers Guy Barash and David Fetherolf. Also on the program is the winning work from RAM’s 2015/2016 Call for Scores, “Al Vacio” by Federico Garcia-De Castro in addition to “4 Bialik Children’s Songs” by Ronnie Reshef off of Nadav Lev’s new album, “New String Attached."

Manhattan performance of “Praise by Your Being”

Random Access Music (RAM), presents its mid-season program "The Heavens Declare." For the first time on a RAM program, the composers of RAM delve into the world of the string quartet. New quartets by Gilbert Galindo and Frances White were written specifically for this concert, as performances of quartets by Guy Barash and David Fetherolf will be given fresh interpretations. Performing is the passionate and energeticRAM Players String Quartet, with Maya Bennardo and Sabina Torosjan on violin, Liuh-Wen Ting on viola, and Kate Dillingham on cello.
