Program Note
Each movement is intended as a representation of a human character and expression. While thinking of titles for the movements, I found inspiration from form or character types in the western musical tradition, which are timeless and just as relevant for use today - perpetually driven and existing. Perpetual Drive was written from 2013-2014 for the Lost Dog New Music Ensemble.
